The Hortus Medicus team gathered for the fifth time in Vienna in October 2024. On the two and a half days meeting we discussed the experiences and feedback of pilot training in Transylvania and Hungary, the further developing of the e-learning materials and curriculum, and further cooperation opportunities to take the Therapeutic Horticulture training to a higher level. We also discussed the final work to be done on the Therapeutic Horticulture Manual and details of the Horticultural Therapy conference planned for early next year. We have had the opportunity of visiting wonderful community gardens where various educational and outreach programmes for disadvantaged people take place. We have also visited a psychiatric hospital where garden therapy sessions are used to help patients recover. Very inspiring programmes and activities for garden therapy sessions were presented in detail. Thank you for the opportunity!
