At the end of May, our international team gathered in Odorheiu Secuiesc in the framework of the Hortus Medicus Erasmus+ project at our Transylvanian partner, the Quality of Life Foundation. We shared the experiences of the Therapeutic Horticulture pilot training modules in Transylvania and Hungary so far, and also the experiences of the pilot garden therapy sessions held in three different social/educational institutions in Hungary. We visited also social institutions dealing with orphans and handicapped people and have different kind of gardens and garden activities. Armed with knowledge from our experienced foreign partners, we will further develop the therapeutic horticulture training and will soon produce a manual in Hungarian.
